I've been enjoying photography since 2005 and have discovered a great synergy between the creative side of digital photography and the technical aspects of digital processing and retouching on the computer.

I shoot with professional Canon equipment only and together with those cameras and a variety of lenses and studio lighting equipment I am able to meet most of your requirements for wildlife, event, stock, portraiture and even wedding photography.

I am blessed to have been born and lived in South Africa my whole life. Southern Africa is a fantastic venue for wildlife and birds and just so happen to be two of my biggest photographic passions. My other passion in life is my wonderful wife Wendy who puts up with me wandering off into the bush now and again; and of course, my two beautiful daughters Michelle and Laura-Ashley who are growing up with the same appreciation for their natural heritage.

When I'm not pursuing these photographic interests; I'm spending time with my family or working Monday-Friday at my job as an I.T. project-manager. This usually doesn't leave anywhere near enough time to go out and photograph or learn all that there is about my craft. So it is, that photography for the time being remains a hobby. It is however an interest that I pursue as seriously as I can within those constraints. I have a deep love for nature and wildlife and I try and ensure my photographs respect that sentiment. Above all, I try and remember to smell the sunrise.
