"Africa holds my heart. It has captured my soul with its enigmatic beauty and wonder. And I in my pitiful way attempt to return the favour by capturing images of light and life that reflect the awe and wonder I feel each time I see the sunrise over an Acacia tree; each time I hear the deep rumble of an elephant or the whoop of a Hyena late at night. Africa is within me. I am African. My photographs are me."

I've been enjoying photography since early 2005 and have discovered a great synergy between the creative side of digital photography and the technical aspects of digital processing and retouching on the computer.

I am blessed to live in South Africa which is a fantastic venue for wildlife and birds which just so happen to be two of my biggest photographic passions.

My other passions in life have to be my wonderful wife Wendy who puts up with me wandering off into the bush now and again; and of course, my two beautiful daughters Michelle and Laura-Ashley.

I shoot with professional Canon equipment only and together with those cameras and a variety of lenses and studio lighting paraphenalia I am equipped to meet most of your requirements for portraiture, wedding, stock or fine-art photography.

When I'm not pursuing these photographic interests; I'm spending time with my family or working Monday-Friday at my job at a project-management and software development company. This usually doesn't leave anywhere near enough time to go out and shoot or learn all that there is to learn about photography - but we try?
