Purchase information
All the photographs in my Gallery are available for purchase either as a print or digital download. It is imperative that you review the Terms and Conditions before making any purchases.
Due to the variety of formats and presentation of photographs on this website, actual print sizes can vary. For example, the camera’s that my photo’s are shot with have a ratio of 2 to 3 where the longest dimension of the photo is 1.5 times the shortest. So this fits photo sizes perfectly that are 20in x 30in for example, but not 8in by 10in. Therefore, an 8in x 10in photo needs to be cropped to meet those requirements. There are also panorama prints that need to be custom printed and framed. When ordering prints it is best to advise me of your framing plans so that we can print to fit your standard or custom mat.
My photography prints are done either on Fuji Frontier at 300DPI or for Fine Art Printing on an Epson printer with Epson archival ultrachrome inks for colour prints and carbon pigment quad inks for B&W prints at 300DPI. Prints can be done on a variety of paper formats including the deluxe Fabriano Art Paper and Canvas. Special care is taken to ensure the life expectancy to match or exceed that of traditional film and cure the problem of fading prints.
Please note that all images on this web site are highly compressed to minimise bandwidth and are stored at a resolution of 72dpi which is not suitable for printing. The quality of the print output will far exceed what you see here. Images transmitted via digital download will also be sent at their maximum resolution at 300dpi for the best possible output and greatest flexibility in use.
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you receive any work you are not satisfied with and it is returned to me within 30 days, I will give you a full refund.
Prints
Please contact me directly via the Contact page below and I will be more than happy to discuss options with you for printing and framing including sizes from the standard 8x10 or 8x12 up to the larger formats (A4 - A0).
As examples:
∙ An A4 print on Acid Free Textured Fine Art paper will cost R200,00.
∙ An A2 print on Enhanced Matt paper will cost R400,00.
Postage and packaging is an additional cost at the going rate for Courier services (usually R50,00 per item locally in South Africa)
Bulk discounts are also available on request.
When a print is requested via the ‘Buy Now’ option, please include the following detail in your message:

Digital Download
When ordering an image in digital format it is important to understand that images are not sold but are licensed for use according to the License agreement.
License fee’s differ according to a variety of means including their intended use (commercial or editorial), placement (cover or interior), image resolution and the intended audience (ie print or web-site).
Commercial use includes promotions, advertising, catalogues, display, packaging, CD, posters, banners etc. Editorial use refers to publication in textbooks, magazines, newspapers, articles, educational material etc. Both Commercial and Editorial use can infer publication on a web site.
Image placement costs are affected when an image is placed on the Cover (the front of anything; be it magazine, textbook, CD, poster, sign, web site home page etc) or Interior (the inside pages of any printed material or webpage)
Intended Audience licensing fees impact the cost based on number of views or whether the image is intended for web site display only.

When a license is requested for one of my images by clicking the ‘Buy Now’ option, please indicate the following in your message:
∙ Intended Use (Commercial or Editorial)
∙ Target Audience Size (in numbers or indicate Web)
∙ Image Resolution (in inches, cm or pixels and indicate PPI – 72, 200 or 300ppi)
∙ Framing (indicate any digital frame or matt you require)

The following examples are provided for as a guideline when making Digital Purchases:
∙ A 900px by 600px image intended for Commercial web use to promote or advertise one of your own products will cost R300,00
∙ A 2400px by 1600px image intended for Editorial use on the front-cover of a magazine at 300dpi will cost R445,00
